Hello everyone, i've been a lurker here for quite some time, and am currently waiting on my unlocked arctic 680.

I thought someone should put together a short FAQ sticky thread with a few things that seem to be simple, yet not commonly known to newcomers, and links for threads that some (albeit few i'm sure) people would dare to read if they want to know more... so... please correct me if i'm wrong on something, as i am new too.

HOW TO PERFORM RESETS:

Soft reset (rebooting Palm OS only): Take the battery out of the back of the unit, wait a couple of seconds, replace.

Warm reset (Booting into "Safe Mode"): Hold the up button while booting up. Perform a soft reset after fixing any problems.

Hard reset (wipe handheld, recalibrate hardware, reboot Palm OS): I don't know... perhaps someone can tell me.

In-Cradle reset (Rebooting the recharge circuitry): Plug the unit into an active charge, then fperform a soft reset.

HOW TO CALIBRATE YOUR BATTERY (METER)

Drain your battery COMPLETELY (so far as it will no longer turn on), recharge fully before powering back on.
