Ditto what bmacfarland said. The reference to the Ides of March could actually be used to support the story (as I detailed in the original thread). It could have been that Sprint was looking at it as a device that take the wind out of Verizon's Treo 700w sales, or any number of other possibilities.
I also predicted that you'd come in after the fact and claim that you had some master plan of making Sprint or Palm or whomever reveal some new info.
Oh well. I hope you considered it worth it. If it turns out that your story does/did cause some truly useful info to be revealed ahead of when they wanted to, then I hope you will be thought of fondly. For obvious reasons, though, you won't be given the benefit of the doubt about anything you have to say here in the future.
