Request: Silence when on Touchstone and/or Charging

I would like the phone to switch to silent mode anytime I put it on the Touchstone. If it went silent when charging from any source, that would work too.

App Request: WM-like Today Screen that replaces wallpaper!

I'm surprised that no one else seems to want this. The biggest thing I miss from my old Treo 800w was the Today screen where all your appointments, notes, tasks etc would show up on the main start-up screen. Of course webos is an entirely different animal and there isn't a true start screen like there is on WM and there are no options like widgets that you can add on Android platform. However I really like the implementation that apps like Weatherman do where they replace the wallpaper with an application:

Why can't there be a Today-like app with the same functionality? Instead of just weather, why not incorporate calendar events, notes, tasks, missed calls, weather? I would much rather have this than useless wallpaper that does nothing. Also, I am aware of apps like http://forums.precentral.net/homebrew-apps/200982-ahs-public.html, but I do not want to open a separate card for this functionality. I want to see all my data on the wallpaper screen. Some developer please consider developing an application like this!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

How to access the media/interanal on emulator?

How do you access the protion of the emulator that you would see if you chose the usb option of the pre, when connecting to a comp. What im trying to do is copy the image files from the pixi emulator, to the media/internal/ portion of the emulator using internalz. Then be able to access thes files, so i can start working on pixi themes.

Any help I got all the rooting and putty stuff I have generated app ipks from comand line. I could do this in like no time if i had a pixi to use but I dont. HELP!!! please :confused:

Patch request: Ignore call and send SMS

On other platforms I have had the ability to ignore a call and send an SMS to the number if it is a recognized mobile number.

where does pre store deleted sms?

I'm new here so sorry if this question seems like it. I rooted my pre and pulled the palmdatabase.db3 file to the usb and then to my computer. I used the SQLite tool for Firefox to look through the file but the only sms messages I saw were ones that hadn't been deleted from the phone. Am I looking in the wrong place? Am I able to pull/read those deleted messages somehow? How does the pre handle that? I have read users seeing old history pop back up after being deleted, so something tells me its still there.

Headless/Background Stage Question?

Actually two questions...

Suppose you have an app with one stage that runs in a card and a second stage that runs in the background. What "type" of stage should the second one be listed as when you launch it in your app assistant??? For example, the below would load the main card stage (notice 'card' as the type in the createStageWithCallback function)...

...but what type will the background app be?

My second question is related to the assistant assigned to the created stages. The above example uses "assistantName: 'stage-assistant.js'" to assign a specific stage assistant in the arguments. However, should the entire file name be there or just "stage"???

App Request: Sports Scoreboard

Hey Just had an Idea for an app for sports fans a scoreboard that would in full screen give a full scoreboard for your favorite sports and teams all configureable and also have a notification set at user defined intervals here's a couple of screenshots to give an idea of how it could look:

Obviously that's not formatted for a pre screen but it's just for a visual

I'd make one myself but I have a small problem, I have absolutely no idea how to create apps for anything lol. Here's hoping someone will like the idea enough to make an app for us sports fans :)

Hey I have created a drawer with an ImageView inside, I've added a small spinner but instead of dissapearing when the Image loads it simply stays in the top left corner of the drawer and continues spinning. Here's my code:

App Request: Display "top" information (CPU/Memory usage)

Is it possible for someone to write an app that will display the information available from the "top" command in linux? I know that you can run that from the Terminal app, but it would be nice if there was a webOS app that could grab that info and put it in an easy to read card app. In addition, it would be cool if you could enable a persistent information bar utilizing the notification area so you could always see the CPU and memory usage.

Package Updates

When I start Preware it shows I have 3 package updates - fileCoaster, Nodoze, and Preware. Do I just tap on these to update them, or do I need to remove any of the apps first?

Patch Request: Speaker Toggle Button for Google VoiceMail

It would be nice if someone could create a patch for the following:

I get a new SMS indicating that I have a new Google voicemail.
I check my email on my Pre and click on listen to message.
The Pre currently downloads the message and then when you tap on it it uses the streaming app to play it.

It would be nice if there was a toggle button switch to the internal headset speaker so that my voicemail is not on speaker phone.

mojo calls not working

everytime i try to use a x-mojo-element nothing shows up.
its like the source isnt recognized or something.
This is really annoying as i cant really make anything work.
also the scroll doesnt work automatically and i cant use the scroller method because it is a x-mojo-element.

any suggestions please
