However, or day-to-day make a living software is accounting and time-and-billing.

We are ready to announce a feature-complete alpha version of our forthcoming time and billing application "My Time is Money".

This program will alllow you to create lists of Projects, select customers from your contact list and assign projects to them, create tasks and to collect time for each project on a task by task basis. Billing rates, and tax rates can be set on a project by project or task-by-task basis.

The program will allow you to gather time by start-stop buttons, or by entering time as time-in & time-out or as elapsed hours.

You can send invoices from the phone to yourself and or your customer by email.

You can design and display reports on the phone in summary and detail of time transactions, and can email those reports to your self as HTML tables which can be directly imported into Excel.

The next version will support syncing to a web site where other functions will be available.

The current version is "Feature Complete Alpha"

That means that for example, the order of items on the menu has not been optimized. No special CSS work has taken place to pretty up the app, it's bare-bones webOS widgets.

On the other hand, it works, and can do some cool things.

At this time, we need up to ten volunteers who are willing to attempt to install and use the program in its alpha state. We will request a detailed feedback of your user experiance, and your suggestions for fixing what you see as lacks or incompleteness in the program.

What we are offering in return is a free copy of the final production version of the program.

Testers who follow us along through the entire pre-release process and provide review comments on each version will recieve six months pre-paid access to the My-time-is-money.com web site where additional functionality will be made available.

If you wish to sign up, please comment to that effect in this thread and send a private message to rboatright with your email address.

You will need to use palm-install or WebOS Quick Install to install the pre-release version. It will be distributed by link via email.

It's still very much a work in progress and still has the odd bug or two. Let me know what you think.

Description:
Timesheet is an app to record your working day (i.e. clock in time, lunch break and clock out time) and Calculates your hours worked, flexi time for the day and overtime.
The Month View then shows the total hours, flex and overtime worked so far this month (up until the previous day) and you also have the option to look at previous months total hours.

This app is configured around my working hours and may not suit everyone. Future revisions will allow you to set your own working week.

This app will not record hours before 7am
Mon-Thur hours after 6pm are overtime
Fri hours after 4pm are overtime
Sat and Sun all hours are overtime
Mon-Thur default lunch is 30mins


When you are upgrading, install the new version on top of the old version to keep your data.


This application is available for free, but cannot be redistributed, and the source code is not open source

Be able the set the working week in preferences


Known bugs to fix:
Get the delete record working ( works on the emulator :confused:)

A simple map application which uses tile graphics from the OpenStreetMap project and the rendering engine of the OpenLayers project.


Features
  • Supports free navigation mode and GPS position locked mode.
  • Choose from three different tile graphic sets (osmarender, mapnik, cyclemap).
  • Displays GPS coordinates, accuracy and speed.
  • GPS position marker shows the heading if available.
  • Supports all zoom levels supported by the selected tile graphics set.
  • Supports night mode which displays the map with darker colors.
  • Supports free display orientation.
  • Supports full screen and allows enabling/disabling of various information. The command menu automatically disappears and can be opened again by tapping the map. In that way the whole screen is free for displaying the map.
  • Available in English and German.

Known problems

(Help is always welcome)
  • When you choose a specific display orientation and then switch back to free orientation then this is not working immediately. You have to restart the application to get working free orientation. Haven't found out yet what causes this. Maybe it's a Mojo issue.
  • Night mode really only makes the map darker. I can't switch to totally different tile graphics and I found no possibility to "invert" the graphics in webkit (which would be a really cool night mode).
  • In very rare situations the map doesn't display anything, even the GPS position marker is gone. This looks like an issue with the OpenLayers library. If you encounter this problem then simply change the zoom level and the map is working again.
  • Sometimes the displayed position is totally wrong even when there is a GPS fix with good accuracy. But in these situations the Google Maps application also shows the same wrong position so this must be an issue with the GPS hardware and not with my application. So if you think Minimap displays the wrong position then please first check with Google Maps before sending me bug reports.
  • Because webOS has no official API yet to prevent shutting off the screen you will have not much fun with this application when used for car navigation. I'm going to fix this as soon as Palm has added an official API to handle this. But for now you have to use hacks like the Nodoze application.

Descripton:
NOW USING GPS!!

Basic 0-60mph timer. Plan on adding other features and really cleaning it up if this very basic one works well for most people. Simply press the button and once you start to speed up it will start timing and tell you how long it takes you to get to 60mph. Also, the timing gets buggy if you press the button more than once during a run, but simply restarting fixes it. I will fix that in the near future. I just wanted to get this version out before working on a fix.

I have tried this out on my own and it seems to be pretty accurate but I only have my speedometer to compare it to. If anyone has gps to compare it to please let me know how well it compares.

Scatter is a simple game. Just tap the screen with your finger. That is the easy part. It is much harder to get the timing and placement of that tap so that you recover all the scattered balls. Each ball as a fixed amount of time it will remain on the screen after it has been hit. Then it will shrink away never to be seen again. To win, you have to complete all of the levels.

There are two ways to play: Chaos and Puzzle modes. Chaos lets most everything run free and you need to capture most of the balls on the screen to complete each level. Puzzle is much more controlled and you will need to figure out just the right place and time to tap to recover the other balls



Each level has a fixed score you will receive for completing the level. In addition for every ball you recover beyond the required number, you will get a bonus of 100 points. That is the good news. The bad news is that if you fail to complete the level, you will lose 100 points. Your final score comes from all of the level scores, bonus scores and failed attempts you make at each level.

Currently there are 10 puzzle levels and 10 chaos levels.
