I have WebOS 1.2.1, and through the WebOS Quick Install, I attempted to install the theme called "Black". After doing so, all of my launcher pages and all of my icons are gone except for the "regional settings" icon. I have all my contacts, my email works, and call history is there, but nothing else, no icons, tweaks, anything. I then reverted back to default theme, which gave me a default background, but still I have nothing in the launcher. Everything I have seen so far about restoring the Pre involves either the WebOS Doctor which is not compatible with 1.2.1, or using the "device info" icon which I no longer have. Any ideas on what I could do to fix this?

this update killed my phone!

not charging, not booting up...big question mark.

took all nec steps and same foolishness!

now im gonna have to get a replacement refurbish phone...thank u sprint...:thumbsdown:

Go to your Launcher and run the "Screen & Lock" program. Scroll to the bottom and change the "Show When Locked" to the "ON" position.

Any idea why when I look for updates my status bar just spins and finds nothing? I have been trying to download the latest update since Saturday.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, but mass texts are now available.
I was under the impression that they weren't before, but today I noticed i could send one message to multiple people.

I haven't seen this posted, but like the 1.2 update, this morning I downloaded another 1.2.1 update. On saturday I downloaded the 35 mb update ( not sure the size but it wasn't that big). Today I went and checked updates and it found an update that was about 135mb. I don't see anything too different but I was wondering if anyone else received this?

if this has been talked about ad naseum....sorry!

yea but it'd be better if you could go through the list and select people by giving them a check mark.

Actually, it would be better if you could establish group lists like club, kids, etc.

Have you tried rebooting? If not try that. Also have you tried both wifi and sprint network? I always check for updates with wifi on personally.

Does it say that the new update is 1.2.1? I know with 1.2.0 there was a patch update to the original update for anyone who's pre didn't update correctly perhaps this is the case for you?

I still can't get my Pre to want to download 1.2.1. My wife's downloaded first try, for 2.5 days now my pre says it's up to date.

Anyone else?

is anyone else experiencing extremely slow email population issues since installing 1.2.1? since I've updated it's takes forever to pull up an actual email. I get into the inbox without issue it's just when I open an actual email that I have the issue. very annoying
