You can go ahead and make up a hotsync name. Is this your first palm device?

If I remember...keeping it under 10 will make sure it's compatible with all other palms (beaming) At least the 650 had a bug (never fixed) where long user names had beaming issues.

thanx again, are you still working on the naming thing? I still have a message button that does nothing, I haven't figured out the particular file to run when I want to use the default messaging. Or you could have a default setting that will set every button to stock usage and then individualy change the ones that need changing.

the default messaging is called "messaging". Go into preferences>buttons> you can set a button to "messages" that's the text messaging on the treo. For instance, I have messaging set to my phone button using the option button. So option +phone =messaging. "Messaging" doesn't show up in LudusP, but you can set the option+ right in preference and it works.

Has anyone had any issues with Launcher X 1.2.2 and LudasP? I was working with Jeff today and its possible that the two apps might have some incompatibilities. Mainly the issue of the home button as both try to take control of it. Some users of LX stated reboots on using the Home key, which I did, but later resolved. I am not sure how I fixed it though yet.

From what I remember with the 650, if you looked up someone in your contacts and pressed the "Phone" button, it would call that person. As it is now, when I press the "Phone" button, it brings me back to the main screen (either the dailpad or a whatever wall paper is on your main page). I have to press the center/enter button to make a call via my Contacts list.
I have the "All-in-1 Phone btn:" set to Phone, btw.
I hope I make sense!

tyler - after using 1.13 for 2 days now I can say with sime certainty that LudusP is conflicting with Chatter. I had 0 resets with Chatter only on my 700p Tues-Wed. On Thurs in the am I installed LudusP. I immediately started experiencing unexplained resets, frozen screens that were only corrected by removing the battery, and this am chatter crashed every time I clicked on an email. I reloaded chatter and the resets in Chatter stopped, but the other symptoms continued. Finally tonite I deactivated LudusP and I have not had a single error.
The reason why I think LP is the cause is ##377 said "Fatal error applications". I am using a Sprint 700p. I am going to wait for 1.5 or beyond to see if you can resolve these stability issues.
good luck

I've had no problem with Chatter and LudusP conflicting.
