Boy, I hope Tyler did well on that French exam and hits the forum in a good mood...

Hate for a bad test experience to ruin my anticipation of fixing this Agendus blunder... ha

Hi guys,

a lot of you already purchased it and then emailed me to ask "Where is the download?" Please read the thread and you will note i NEVER posted a link to where you could buy, someone else found it and posted it prematurely. Just FYI.

I'm uploading it now... info in a minute

regards, tyler

edit: just to make it clear, thanks very much for your purchase! your code will work just fine. i just didn't want anyone to be worried if they couldn't find the download link.

LudusP, the first utility for the Treo 700p, has been released by Ludus Technologies, Inc.

From the press release:
"LudusP fixes the 700p's button layout flaws and allows you total customization of your Treo's hard keys. Easy to use and refreshingly effective, LudusP is a sure way to get the most out of your new phone!"

I think you know the story by now. Please let me know how it goes! It's only $5 to register, there's week-long trial period, and i'll be updating as often as is necessary (registered users get free upgrades!)

Please report back on how it goes!

it's been a lot of fun working with everyone, thanks very much for your support. Only with the dedication of TreoCentral could a developer hope to write a device-specific utility WITHOUT ever having touched the device!

THE LINK: http://www.ludustech.com/ludusp/

best regards, tyler

I thought I was going to be able to get the same functionality I get on the 650. I would add this option:

Make the reciever icon button be the all in 1 button. So that way we get the following:
-Green button = Menu
-Red button = Power
-Reciver button = All in 1 phone button
-Mail button
-Home button

This is a must lay out,

Al

I like this program. Here's what I did (very simple):

1. Made shift button shift again (no menu)
2. Made Green button my menu button (I hated moving my fingers further down for this)
3. Made Zlauncher work with home.
4. I made the Calendar button the Web. Since I use Quicklaunch Anywhere (Zlauncher, no need for this button).

Perfect, and well worth $5!

I definitely like the menu on the left vs. on the right on the 650 and even worse on the bottom for the 700p.

I'm a very satisfied customer, it works great!!!!
With any luck all of us around here buying your excellent utility will remedy your problem of trying to develop for a device you don't even has access to (yet).

Nice program and makes it feel more natural to me coming from the 650. Good work!.

However, I paid and tried to use the registration number, but it didn't work? Perhaps it'll take a little more time to go through? My hotsync ID isn't in caps, but I tried to change that and I dont think it matters.

Nice app. I just noticed that when the phone is off, and you press the home button it does not go back to my default launcher(zlauncher)

It does if pressed twice. Not too big of a deal for me.

I'm also psyched that I can use Quicklaunch from anywhere. You have no idea how valuable and time saving that is!

Program is great....

Am i the only one who actually likes having the menu button at the bottom. It's more natural for me, sort of the like the Alt key on a full size keyboard. It's just easy for my thumb to jump down to the right to hit the menu key there.

Oh well...was great to remap all the others.

Green button is now phone key and dial key.
Blue phone button is now my contacts direct launch.
