Very cool. Works as advertised, I'm happily using ZLauncher now.

Wow guys thanks for all the wonderful feedback! There's an update v1.13 coming tonight. it fixes the bug where Home will launch default launcher when the device is off. Also, it fixes the bug mentioned by DrGrace... I'll post when it's up

pureinstinct- yup, it doesn't interfere with Pref panel settings

DrGrace- thanks. fixed in v1.13 coming in a few minutes

Scott- Ahhhhhh. I see... i can't do anything about this UNTIL i get a 700p (with any luck, hopefully very soon) because it will require a LOT of work. i will try my best, however.

Jim-sorry i didn't make it clear, but the buttons won't work in LudusP. it says that in the manual btw... the reason for this is to keep the DB read/write straight.

best regards, tyler

NOTE: v1.13 has been released. Please download and install. It fixes the Home/PowerOff bug described above and the recently reported double hit Menu bug. Good news: ALL reported bugs have been fixed (and those two were minor at any rate).

You can install over the current version (to save your prefs!): http://www.ludustech.com/download.php?file=LudusP.zip [same link!]

tried the new version and it works after power on, but it also changes the category that you were on to the next one, probably not good, otherwise seems to be working fine.

also, still can't find the default messages program, nothing is in the list of programs that comes up.

>changes the category that you were on to the next one, probably not good

i suppose there's some truth there, however it's not really LudusP's fault (it sends the same key code as the OS). really, your launcher should check to see if it was called with a PowerOn keymask and if so keep it at the current screen and not change it...

>still can't find the default messages program, nothing is in the list of programs that comes up

this is annoying... i'm going to make it display the names that appear in the launcher for the next version. Make it MUCH easier

I am using zlauncher. Anyway, the phone was not turned on with the home button on the 650, this may be why it is like that. Is the messenger program listed in your list under a different name, I use it a lot and now that button is useless.
thanx again, it is a lot less annoying now to go to the launcher.

I get an error that only disappears with a HARD reset.

It says, Error 43: Cannot find database.

Thanks Tyler for your "Lifesaver" application!!!!

I am sorry if you already answered this (I went through all the posts, I promise!!!):

Is there anyway you can "swap the Home button with the red on/off/end button?" as requested above? That would be great!!!!!

Keep up the GREAT work!!!!

Thanks and PayPal on the way to get my app registered!!!!

Taylor,

Is there something wrong with the payment process on the web site? I've tried to pay several times with my Pay Pal Account and just using a credit card and it won't take either. I get an exclamation point, but no message.

>I get an error that only disappears with a HARD reset.

I'm very sorry about that. What exactly did you do to get that to happen? It really shouldn't at all...

(Btw, you don't need to do a hard reset. Just hold the Up key and reset your device, then disable LudusP)...

>Is there anyway you can "swap the Home button with the red on/off/end button?" as requested above?

It could be possible... let me look at it tomorrow!

>Is there something wrong with the payment process on the web site?

I don't think so... where do you get the exclamation mark? On LudusTech's servers or at paypal?

I just realized it is on the the PayPal Web site. I'll probably have to contact them.

Yep. I figured out the problem with Pay Pal. Great app! This got rid of my only real complaint about the 700. I was glad to pay. (But you should have charged more, it's worth it.)
