Looking into it... this afternoon i'll try to add End button features (for FULL 650 semblance) and also fix the capslock bug.

and yes, netfirms said the site should be running fine now. sorry for the inconvenience

regards, tyler

Just bought the LudusP app and I gotta say...definitely MORE than worth the $5.

Thanks Tyler!

I am looking so forward to Tyler possible adding full 650 resemblance. I agree with others this app is worth more than $5, especially for the time Tyler spends on updating it with our requests, and also being so active in this thread answering questions and taking requests.

Still having issues since the upgrade to 1.13. The home button does not always keep default launcher. This was an obvious problem with the older version after a screen off/lock. Now it does work after hitting Home after immediately using power to turn off screen. But after an extended screen off/sleep, it does not work for me. Actually, it goes back to not working at all. Repeated Home taps cycle through Palm launcher categories instead of my launchers categories. I have to open LudasP and close and then program to get it to work again. FYI - I am using MegaLauncher on Verizon.

Thanks Tyler - having the menu button on that useless green send button is great. I type emails one-handed (not while driving of course) and I use my right hand, so being able to use the menu button on the green send button is much more convenient. I chose to change the Palm menu button to the shift key, which is moderately more helpful as well.

Tyler...i have a request, if possible. I actually like having the Green Send key and hte Phone Key linked together, but am using the Green button for this command. I have the blue phone key set up for Contacts now.

My dilemma - the green send key is not setup by Palm to bring the Treo out of sleep mode. I can't use it to turn the Treo on when combining them in LudusP. Is there anyway you might be able to add this functionality, so that the green send key can wake the treo up?

Thanks bro

I have no problem with Tyler adding more functionality if it doesn't hinder performance, but I think that remapping things exactly the way they were with the 650 creates a new issue: none of the labels will match what they do? Do really want the red button with the power symbol to mean Menu and the button with the Home symbol to be on/off?

Two features I would like are:
1) Ability to remap the menu button near the space bar to other things (maybe even certain characters for typing).
2) Ability to assign secondary push-and-hold functionality to the buttons.

Great work Tyler!

I would LOVE the buttons to mirror my 650's. I keep pressing the power button to go home, and home to power off.

I am so used to my 650's buttons that I don't look at the buttons on the 700p, and I press the wrong ones, home and power. I just press them. I would LOVE to be able to set the buttons up just like my 650's

Actually, I've been laughing: I keep hitting the red button for the menu, and the power goes off, just like it does before a reset, so everytime I do that, I keep thinking it's about to reset!

I'm losing it..........

You got someone here with the same problem. I can't get by this. I have tried several different resets and reloads and still this ERROR 43 keeps coming up... so frustrating.

hi UFGATOR,

could you please let me know exactly what you did to arrive at this problem so i can go thru it myself?

SailRace,

as cool an idea as that is... unfortunately the ability of a button to turn the device on is hardware-controlled, so i can't do anything about that part

thanks! tyler

My problem resolved itself. Not sure how or why.

Because I was tweaking so many variables, it is impossible for me to say what it was that caused the problem.

All I did to get the problem when it happened, though, was to install the program.

Just to reiterate, what about the possibility of adding an Option+Button for the Home button? It is a shame to loose that button real estate.

pureinstinct-

of course that's still on the To-Do list. but my main priority now is getting the buttons working with the 700p and getting their normal actions to do what people want. as soon as THAT's taken care of i'll be looking at all kinds of extras

best regards, tyler

Tyler,
Thanks. I figured it might be harder than i thought...Oh well, not a huge deal.

I got the error people are talking about too when i was installing some Bluetooth programs to try and resolve the BT issues. I managed to get out of it, delted LudusP, and reinstalled. Haven't had a problem since.

It was strange, but i couldn't duplicate it if i tried.

As long as you make the "650 Clone" features priority, I am happy.....
