I posed this question in the TREO 650 area...but with a Cingular Treo 650 with DUN set up...how do I configure a OS X to work with the Treo. Where are the modem scripts found and what are Cingulars settings. Please help I dont believe the Sprint FAQ will help on this one but I could be wrong.

I have the same issue - I have got the Cingular setting and Bluetooth working - but I don't know what the modem script needs to look like (or how to set it up for that matter). Anyone have experience with this?

and look for added info on Cingular--also go to Trevor's page (yes, it talks about Sprint) and look at the bottom for Cingular info.

I use the excellent GPRS script generator
(http://www.macronsoft.com/pages/en/products.html)

and it'll make a script for Cingular or whatever provider you have. I am with Fido, and it works great. I was able to use the 650 as a modem for my Powerbook with no problems.
The ID and apssword are displayed for you once you select the provider and you enter them in the PPP tab in your System prefs. I turned off all other network ports except Bluetooth. The only thing I had to enter was fake the phone number in the phone number field. I had it from the wireless modem days of Treo 270 or 600. It is *99#. I also turned off TCP header compression in the PPP options, but I don't know if that's necessary.
