Who do we have to payoff to get www.treocentral.eu started??!

I already have a headache and now a second Euro is bragging about having their 270. We need a moderater to stand up and start omitting this stuff. I have a day job, if I start losing sleep because HS decided to release in Europe first and here I sit waiting... well it might involve a lawyer!

Come on Euro's give me a break, I already grind my teeth at night, please don't cause it during the day.

1 It is same size, it seems same weight tan 180.
2 With only few hours of use, no crashes. Yes, my 180 had it.

The stylus is exactly the same than in the 180, except in the edge, with a narrow and sharpen tip.

Indoors and backlighted -which is default- it's really really bright. A pleasure to work on it. Without backlight is enough to use (much better than my old 505).

and says that my order has already been shipped!
(it was order 9:39AM (GMT+1) on Tue 28).

I will post as soon as I recieve my unit.

Is there any new from the other side of the Atlantic about
shipping units?

No units shipping over here yet. Guess Handspring is really pushing in cell phone crazy Europe.

I ordered my Treo 270 EU on Handspring UK site on 28 may 6 pm , but my order status is still "order received".

Anyone ordered after my order and has different order status ?

My experice with HS in the U.S. is that the order lays there in order received status on their order tracking system.

The real indicator of shipment is:

HS bills your credit card right before they ship. Watch your credit card account on line if possible

Your best indicator of shipment, is to watch and see when your credit card is billed, then you know that shipment has occured the web is updated shortly there after. In the past I have watched and watched the HS order tracking web site, then the product arrives at my door, then I look back and the web is updated.

My Treo270 is here!.

Finally, after few extra days waiting due to UPS (they dont deliver on weekends), my Treo 270 is here.

I placed my order on Tuesday 28,9:30 AM through the uk website.
It was shipped on Thursday 30 and I have recieved this morning.

First Impressions:

1) Color screen visiblilty is quite good. Outdoors colors are washed but its still usable (today its extremely sunny here and
I have been able to read & use it at 2:00 pm with max light).

2) Outlook sincronization works fine

and avant-go connection
worked quite fine as well.

More details to come as soon as I have the time to play around with it.

(Spain had never won nor even played the final of soccer WC
although their clubs used to perform quite well in international
competitions),

My problem with the UK website, that I have just ordered my new treo and my order status in the website is 'PLANNED' for 3 days. Idiot HS couldnt tell me why, but they said its processing.

I dont beleive them... If they could processing would not be written there 'planned'

So i dont know when i m gonna got my new treo. Maybe never...
