Treo friendly Tour de France info?
Now that the Tour is under way, has anyone found a mobil friendly site for minute by minute updates? Or even just stage summaries?

The closest I've found is Yahoo! Cycling:
http://home.mobile.yahoo.com/raw?dp=...&lg=sc&ac=news
It's far from "up-to-the-minute"; I saw this morning's stage on OLN a copule of hours before the stage results actually appeared on Y!Cycling.

They'll send you an SMS at the end of every stage - I got the one today saying Lance was second in the prologue, and the other won it.

Thanks.
I was able to weed thru the flash stuff on my pc. I cound not see the skip button on the treo with that dark background. I believe this is the link to the sms update page. http://www.olntv.com/OLN-wireless-tdf04.asp
Here's the url bypassing the flash intro page. http://www.olntv.com/tdf04/

This is almost the same as the above bbc page but a different version which gives more in the way of links etc.

interesting piece of software plus it helps you get into the spirit of things by forcing you to work on your French (or German, I suppose)

This thread made it all the way to the front page
And Lance is 9 minutes adrift. I don't think there's a single Brit in it this year

That was pretty cool.
All of the above are helpful but by this time next year I expect to be streaming Lance's attempt at 7 live onto my Treo Ace!

is awesome!
I can tap the center section, then tap the magnify icon at the bottom of the Blazer tool bar and get the minute by minute update full screen.

great stage analysis site
when it comes to stage-by-stage analysis turn to Coach Carl ( www.coachcarl.com) and accept no substitutes. Coach Carl also has a pretty accurate track record for tour predictions.

You should be able to watch the Tour LIVE if you are in France with an EDGE phone But for Orange France, the Treo is NOT an EDGE phone... You have to buy a Nokia and then you can receive streamed live video of the Tour. I do not understand why... How to check if the Treo is EDGE enabled or using EDGE capabilities ?
