It took me a while, but I finally figured out the whole app LOL. This app make me love the 700p a bit more.

I am also looking at the Pac Man app, but I'm not going to hijack this thread. Time to do some searching.

Horace,

Can you also check on the Sharklink compatibility. I added a several website using sharklink and when I use your launcher it takes me to mobile.fandango.com. When I use the Palm default launcher it goes to the correct site.

I believe to appeal to enough users to make this profitable, it should be able to do EVERYTHING that the built in launcher can do, and build upon that.

I run Tcpmp from the card, I noticed it will not show up in the launcher unless I move it to the internal memory... Is this the same for evey one else?

Thanks for report. I'd put it on my bug list...

It's matter of priority

I am trying to implement the more frequent use and convenient features first. TL will catch up, eventually

Two wallpapers I made based on where I work (local Sheriff's Office)

And a blank wallpaper with my Palm Logo

To find a plethora of 320x320 wallpapers, do a google image search for "320x320 wallpaper", with safe search off, and skip to page 7 after you've initiated the search.

Default Calendar

Would it be possible to make the calendar an editable item, say change the color of it or make it semitransparent?

Nice wallpaper NachoB. How did you get the out line on the most visited apps section? I saved a few wallpapers from Google, but the size is to small. I'm not to savy like most of you guys, but I'm learning. Any tips for me?

Why jpeg instead of gif? Because I don't know how to read animated gif

Currently Treo Launcher relies on pnoJpegLib and animated gif is not supported (unless I missing something here). Without pnoJpegLib, that left the built-in PhotoLib in Treo which probably won't handle animated gif either.

BTW, a gif is 256-color and that is harmful to the eyes anyway so what if we put a series of jpegs in, say, /Palm/Programs/Lnchr/Animation/ folder, and TL changes the background through these jpegs every 1/10 second and creates an animation effect?

Just a thought, please don't expect much here. That will take a lot of runtime memory, battery, and slow startup loading time ... all are bad stuff on a mobile device ...

I have an idea.
I'm not a fan of gifs either <---

How about making something that changes as the day goes by heh?
from light to dark perhaps? (like the sony psp auto monthly color changes).
Or from sun at the bottom(bright yellow)>sun at the top>sun at the bottom(orange) again>moon and stars?
or an enable jpg change timing and we will create ower own

Used Paint Shop Pro. I dabble in graphic design quite a bit as a hobby.

I am still figuring out how to do transparency ...

For color change, it will be available in 1.2. If you don't mind beta software, please try 1.2 beta 2 (attached).

Wow, that was fast.. That's great, can now use some darker wallpapers I had my eyes on but couldn't read the icon text so I was staying away from them..
Gonna work on a wallpaper for ya :-)

Edit: Text background is doing nothing for me, with or w/out a wallpaper.
Edit: Nevermind, figured out it's for when navigating to select an app.. (highlighted text background color)

Based on all I could gather from your website, which wasn't much

In Treo Launcher:

Blank for you to download:

Outline of recent app area more defined:

For those that like full calendar view:

Blank for you to download:

Can change anything ya like, just let me know.

Default Profiles

Now that colors are configurable, how about the ability to save profiles (or themes), that would include wallpaper, text color and background text color, and calendar color?

Nice idea! I'd do that later, probably after each Mode can configure with its own wallpaper ...

Thanks!

Default option to edit wallpaper pathname

One last recommendation, have the Edit Wallpaper Pathname section popup an edit window for typing the path. As you can see from the image below, I am not able to completely see and edit the path of the wallpaper, so it's pretty much useless.
