Those cute little icons at the bottom of the screen, for those of us who use full cover cases and our tiny little fingers, starting apps that way is very cumbersome.

Can't you turn on and off the phone really fast to get the date and time? I mean I understand why you want it on a 650 or older Palm device.

I have been using treolauncher for awhile now, I love it. It is just what I have been looking for in a launcher; I own other of crappy launchers (LauncherX, Initiate, and Zlauncher). I am a simple guy who likes the access/palm built-in launcher. I just want to able to have some features added to it (like backdrop pic, hide the All category). For me the problem with the other launchers is they all are missing the fundamentals. Before most of you try to take my head off I have written to Rob (Initiate) many of time about better category support of Initiate, he said NO, I don’t like category and that was his last attempt to implement them. Jeff (LauncherX) was working on of my issue but he drop off the planet for some mouths and left LauncherX v129 very buggy for my 700p. Zlauncher is a very good launcher but like I said “I am a simple guy”.

Ben...

For those of you with tiny little fingers, try making quick, thrusting stabbing motions with a pop sickle stick at those cute little icons. It'll work, I guarantee it...

BTW...Resco Explorer is tops for me, as a excellent file manager, zip and unzip utility, rename file icon utility, as a backup utility, and as a launcher too. And it is extremely stable compared to ZLauncher.

I can have Resco Explorer and Resco Backup together and still have a smaller foot print than ZLauncher.

My nickles worth....

I too like the simplicity of this launcher. Although the only advantage I really see for me is the background image and the signal strenght value next to the signal bar. A scroll bar would be a good addition to this launcher also. The only gripe I have about this launcher is it takes twice sometimes 3x as long to load than the default launcher.

Hit enter on your keyboard. It will select the icons in the bottom of the screen and you can cycle through them left or right.

i never used it as a laucher though. i didnt even know

the only problem i have with Tlauchers is that after a hard reset you have to manually activate it.

I have a question about that little number in the corner. What is it for, and it keeps moving up and down, is it suppose to?

I have been using Facer as a launcher for a number of years now. I really like it and it works very well on the
700p.

I tried Zlauncher on my Kyocera 6135(among others). It crashed too many times. I am sure it works better on the Treo from the positive comments I see here. I might take another look at it.

If you want to take a look at Facer 3.1.1 or Facer lite here is the link. pocketcraft.com

What issue? QuickLaunch Anywhere? Turn off "enhanced recognition".
