Is it me or how exactly does 48 days add up to June 6th being that we are less than 30 days away from June 6th. More like 16 days if you don't count today. Am i missing something?
Update: Supposedly the counter was correct when it was working on the site. That is what led to to speculation of the June 6th date. Glad I cleared that up.....for myself LOL!

19 days...hmmm
Counting today, it is 19 days until June 6th. Were we to read into the May 19th announcement that it would be 19 days until the release of the Pre?

Pre launch info now on Palm.com June 6th for $199
Palm.com now has the Pre launch date displayed as June 6th for $199 after a $100 and two year service agreement.
Fine print: $199.99 price is after $100 mail in rebate and qualifying 2 year service activation. Use of this device requires providing a valid email address, mobile phone number, and related information for account set-up and activation. Use of select unlimited data bundle plans will be required.

So, what's the full off-contract price? At least $299, but is there a hidden 'instant savings' amount that we don't yet know (like most other Sprint phones)?
