Default Flash Player 10 beta will be available October

It’s official: Adobe’s CEO, Shantanu Narayen, announced in the Q2 audio press release that a version of Flash Player 10 beta will be available for Smartphone’s browsers starting this October (during Adobe MAX) . The FP10 will be available on Google Android, Nokia Symbian OS, Window Mobile and Palm Web OS Pre browsers. No official word regarding AIR support for Smartphones.

Wha???? how many other phones have it? it's amazing that it will be in october. The phone didn't say they would have flash, (same with video), be happy that we're getting it so soon. This phone is better as is than the iPhone, than the G1, HTC garbage, etc. And after flash, the iPhone will be 2nd to the pre for sure.

there will be plenty of other awesome things about this phone to keep us busy until then. The phone is the bomb. . that is all.

First of all - flash means more battery consumption. I really hope Palm goes the flash block route - flash is blocked by default and then you enable it by clicking on it.

As for hulu - biggest issue will be performance here.

i hope this doesn't make the phone even more sluggish than when pandora is running, and it won't suck the battery down that much more.
