Default App Development Question
I know nothing about app development. Is it possible to develop 3rd party software that would allow Outlook to sync wth the Pre handset without using google. In other words, like the Palm desktop software use to do with the Treos.

The answer is yes, but someone already beat you to it. Chapura released Pocket Mirror for the Pre, not long after launch day. Look for it in your App Catalog. Just as it did with the old Palm OS, Pocket Mirror will sync your Pre's calendar and contact list with Outlook.

Chapura is also in the process of developing Echo, which will sync the Pre with the Palm Desktop.
