I think a lot of good and potentially very useful applications are waiting on further upgrades to the SDK and APIs. Higher quality, more interesting applications take time too. But yeah, it will get better, and probably worse too.

The Weather Channel app is excellent. It just became my primary weather app and has animated radar. Very nice.
