Good question...I'm in gainesville fl and also began to have problems with reception after the 1.3.1 uupdate. Problem was worse on wife's phone so we bit the bullet and backed the upgrade back to the last version of WebOS. Said news though, thing are not any better and we've been in contact with Sprint for over a week.
Probably will get Airave from Sprint on their dime since nothing so far has helped and phone service for my wife is unusable at home. Not going to last long for us and we'll break our contract if they don't fix it... No phone service is not an option we can live with. I have no clue how and why ATT customers live with problems like this on their iPhones. What good is a phone without cell coverage. I guess Sorint and ATT are more alike then we think?
What sucks is I really like my Palm Pre...
