change treo 500 language

hi,
i have treo 500 with german language. could i turn it on english?

You would need to hard reset the device. This will give you the option to change to english. To hard reset the device take out the battery then press and hold the power button. Place the battery back in then hold the power button till you come upto the Palm logo. once there release the power button and select up for yes to erase all data. Once you do this then you get the option for english. Select that and you should be all set.

Keep in mind this will remove the data that is currently on the device. So do an activesync to your PC if you need to backup your data.

I've changed the language on my Tréo 500 from English to dutch but the displaying month and daynames are still given in English

What can I do to got them also in Dutch ?
