Talking sms emoticon easter-egg

I discoverd that even though the straight-face smiley is not in the pop-up list, (colon bar) :|

it shows a face when it comes through.

Any other hidden smiley's out there?

I think the :-! or :! is a "smoking smile". Looks like a cigarette and a couple puffs of smoke to me.

I looked and couldn't find any other hidden ones besides the ying-yang :% and straightface :|

Though I did notice that on most of the smilies the '-', nose, is optional.

| smoking | | :-! :! |
| straight face | | :-| :| |
| big tongue | | :-P :P |
| yin yang | | :% |

The last four there are "hidden" emoticons, i.e. they are not present in the Emoticon pop-up menu.

P.S. I just checked this post on mobile and the supposed mono-spacing doesn't work there. Sorry about that ugly formatting, it looks fine in netscape!

You have resurrected a 3 1/2 year old Treo 600 thread.
