Default Treo 610 on Verizon Wireless

Sierra Dn On Rumored Loss Of PalmOne Business

I hope this wasn't posted already; I tried doing a search, but it didn't work. Engadget linked to this yesterday.

The Detwiler Mitchell note said that Sierra could generate as much as $5-$7 million in revenue from PalmOne in the second and third quarters, as PalmOne is expected to launch the Treo 610 on Verizon Wireless's (VRZ.XX) network.

The prospect of supporting EV-DO is worth dreaming about.

I guess when Dow Jones speaks, it's gospel.

Except having a model number not divisible by 3, there're no major changes. No camera?

Like everyone else, I'm more interested in when the major revisions are planned and the Treo will stand up to the competition once these new tri-wireless phones are released.

Just being facetious. I am only concerned that palmOne is doing well enough to consider extending the Treo family, mostly in the Wi-Fi direction. I have little or no interest in their latest unconnected-PDA releases. I'm half-hoping that they'd team up with SONY and come up with a Treo that has some creative options. We all know what they are already. But, it doesn't help that Palm Source is now separate from PO.

Anout the same if you were to lick it. The mAh means nothing as far as that is concerned, it is the Voltage. A 1.2volt 2200 mAh AA would do MUTCH less then a 9volt @ 650mAh. (Sorry to spoil your fun) The only thing the mAh would effect, is how long you would feel the charge.

We have been hearing that Verizon was carrying the Treo since before Christmas. I will believe it when I see it. Hopefully it will be better tested than their Kyocera 7135. And we waited for many months for that one. They are just so slow with their technology releases

One reason I have always gone with ATT... they have better phones and cheaper rates. My StarTac digital was bad... V60 was good... Nokia 6200 very good.

Now I'm jumping ship to Cingular and the Treo 600... a though since Cingular has bought ATTWS I guess I'm still ATT...

Verizion is suppose to be better but I'm happy with ATT and a little extra cash in my pocket.

It was my understanding that it's the amperage that'll getcha.

A static electricity shock can be as high as several thousand volts. I don't know how this relates to the capacitance of the battery and the resistance when it's short-circuited.

I sure someone here can answer the question.
