SDHC Cards Work on the 700p!
Apparently copying the slot driver from the 680 onto the 700p allows it to use SDHC cards!

How 'bout that. The file you need is here:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/m5ixxl << copy, don't HotSync!
Happy Holidays.

What about the 650? Do the drivers work on that "obsolete" device?

I am going to put my 650 under the knife tonight play around with this driver file - I don't have an SDHC card at the moment to verify, but I can at least determine if it installs and the slot still functions with a normal SD card.

The link worked fine for me. Thanks for posting it. My 700p is now SDHC-capable.

Softreset and it worked. Popped the card in without the drivers and it was not reconized at all. Afterward, I poped it in and it saw it just fine! :-D
I have transcoded most of my mp3 collection to lower bitrate OGG-Verbos codec (more effecient) and now I can carry all the music i regularly listen to and a few movies to boot!
On my treo! ;-)

Depending on what you use to play your music, you should transcode to AAC+ v2 instead of OGG. It\'s a lot better.

Yup. Use FileZ, FileProg, Resco, whatever your preferred file manager is.
