Do you guys notice that the ring volume on any ring tone is extremely soft? I can barely hear my phone when it rings. I have it set to increasing ring.

Vodaphone version
I have the 750v & have been losing sound on incoming phone calls only. The phone only vibrates. I haven't downloaded the cab--I'm not sure how that reg edit will impact anything set up via Phonealarm. Plus my issue is a little different than others posting here. The problem seems to clear up when I do a soft reset...but I'm not sure what is causing the problem. I have gone thru all the Palm suggestions for settings, voice activation is disabled. It happens even if I do nothing with the hardware switch at the top of phone. If it's Phonealarm somehow conflicting I can't figure out where---all profiles are set to ring. It's driving me crazy.......

When on vibrate: less than half my calls "ring" (vibrate), I usually just get a "missed call" notification. I get every email notification though.
When on ring: I think I get about 3/4 of my calls. I still get every email notification.
I have tested all that I can think of- including "starting over" with no apps (with the goal of loading them back on one by one until I found the problem- unfortunately, it happened virgin).
Between this and the iNav problems, I might be switching from what I though would be an awesome phone. My 650 was bulletproof through hell and high water.

I cannot begin to to tell you how appreciative of this I am. My phone rings now. Been searching high and low for a solution. All I have got out of forums/customer service here in Australia is a collective shrug. Thanks again cell - from appreciative newbie

I've got a 750 with WM6. My ringer does not seem to work for any incoming call. I've tried:
- soft resets
- plugging / unplugging headphone jack during a call\
- Registry hack mentioned earlier
None of these seem to work. before a HARD reset, any other things I can try??
TIA
MS

I had this exact same problem with my 750 that had WM6.0 on the Rogers Network.
My issue seemed to be a bit different then what i have read here. My 750 would not ring at all but the caller on the other side would hear ringing until it went to my voicemail. My 750 wouldn't even say missed call, it would just prompt that i had new voice mail. It was really annoying!!!
I decided to head over to XDA Developers and read about some of the cooked WM6.1 roms that were available. After updating my 750 to WM6.1 the ringer issue went away. Everything works great now with WM6.1

I just did this, and it worked. I just encountered this problem today, after having the phone for about four days...I googled TREO PRO NOT RINGING and followed links to this forum, and this fix. Thanks as ton.

So, just so I'm clear before I mess something up, this fix will (may) work on my new Palm Treo Pro which has stopping ringing on incoming calls? What a frustrating issue!

It may fix it initially. I've been messing around with this a lot and can't seem to see any real fix that's 100% as of yet.
I've done the reg edits/fixes.
I've added plmo.midi to windows directory.
I've uninstalled programs.
I've edited the radio firmware.
Installed fixes
I'm still keeping my fingers crossed on the TreoProRingerUpdate.CAB I just installed....
It seems to me that it has something to do with any software loaded that has some sort of sound profiles associated with them. Then again I haven't touched anything other than the on/off vibrate switch and this messed things up as well.
Good luck with all your attempts!

Does the speaker work? can you play music? if not, you have the dreaded headphone jack cutoff issue. mine was not curable, and I got a new phone.
