Default Toggle between PIE and IE6... Free app... Cab File

ok. i built this little app, and wanted to share. if you like it, dont for get to give thanks. lol

this little app will install an icon in your program list. this app will allow you to toggle between IE6 and PIE.

what is IE6 and PIE? we"ll to keep it simple, IE6 is what you see on the sprint treo pro when viewing web pages, and PIE is what you see on the other windows mobile devices. It just a different web experience, if you dont know the difference.

I like PIE because it's more of a "mobile" version. I dont have to scroll side to side in pie.

I have deleted the older version (IE6 toggle 1.0) after over a 100 downloads. the new version (IE6 toggle1.1) is working great. not much else to improve, so.....enjoy TreoCentral.

yes it is nice being back in windows mobile and the treo pro is, IMHO, the best wm device sprint has right now. i've had em all and returned all but one.

First off, you must CLOSE INTERNET EXPLORER and then RESTART it before you will see any changes.

i included two screen shots of treosentral on the treo. unless you like a lot of horizonal scrolling i like the PIE version better. it's up to you, but the app does work.

version with IE6

version with PIE

this doesn't even include how the DPAD works between the two different versions. PIE version for me.

I just click:
Menu --> View -->
And then pick desktop, fit to screen, or one column.

Does the same thing.
What am I missing?

The Pro is my first WM phone and I thought that navigating the IE browser that came with it as the number 1 reason to get rid of the phone. It was a terrible experience moving that little arrow all over. How backwards.

I download you app and it make the whole experience 100 times better. Thanks. I am still deciding.

I must say that if it wasn't for the speed improvement for the Pro, I wouldn't consider leaving the 755.

Interesting. Which mode are you using? IE6 or PIE?
