Hi guys. I got my STP yesterday and just joined up here. The STP is now my third WinMo device - I started with the LG Phenom in 1999 and then moved on to the HP LX620, which I still own (but haven't used it in 8 years or so).
I find the STP to be "Old Home" - it's changed, yet still the same. I like it a lot, I think.
Anyway, back on topic: as anybody opened up a network ticket regarding this issue?
My partner's Centro, and my Nextel Motorola, has had the same issue. A call to tech support discovered that Sprint phones can sometimes "lose" sync / location with the towers, requiring a reboot and re-sync (from Sprint's end) in order to re-enumerate the device with Sprint's servers. Tech actually recommended that, on well-traveled devices, a reboot of every few weeks isn't unreasonable to do.
Sprint sometimes does not properly register phones into their server system - this happened with the activation of my Nextel Motorola. It took
five network tickets over two
weeks to get fixed (actually, it only got fixed after I found out the CEO's email address and wrote to him directly!

) The tech(s) who finally fixed the issue (and got my service back!) acknowledged the fact that, sometimes, server registration gets fouled up and gives the phone issues. Maybe your dropped incoming calls, being directly sent to voicemail, is due to this.
