Default available via repository?
Hi. I am brand new to my pre and to using a forum like this so i apologize if I violate protocal or standard courtesy. i don't know what "available via repository" means in the Homebrew App Gallery. Can someone help a new guy out?

It means that you don't have to root your Pre in order to install them.

There are some steps you DO need to take in order to take advantage of all the great homebrew apps, this article covers it quite well.

Spader's got it right. Some apps in the gallery are not available via filecoaster ro preware, some are there just for 'display.' Each developer chooses their own distribution option.
