Keyboard brightness app?

My pre. I love it in every way, except for one thing, the battery life. Now it drains so fast because my brightness is at 100 percent! Why you ask? Because the keyboard looks AWESOME. The screen looks fine in the lowest setting, but not the keyboard. Now I THINK that they work on separate light sources_ they have to, right? Well anyway if you agree with this or are interested in something of this nayure, post here and lets motivate a developer or two for an app that would allow you to seperatley change the keyboard brightness.

Yeah I wonder if its possible? I fully agree with your points about how awesome the keyboard looks at full brightness but am too battery conscious

I agree with you on the keyboard look. Hopefully someone can figure out how to change that setting.

or maybe have a way where you can toggle on and off the keyboard light

Yeah, just a utility to conrol all aspects of the keyboard lighting.
