Default Exchange and Gmail only downloading last 5 emails

A few days ago my Pre stopped downloading the last three days of emails and is only downloading the last 5 emails in both my MS Exchange mailbox and my Gmail mailbox.

I confirmed I'm still set to receive emails from the last three days (and I've received more than 5 in the last three days. ) I've also powered the phone on and off a couple of times.

When I go to the "combined" mailbox, I can get all of my messages from the last three days just fine.

Has this ever happened to anyone? Any advice would be most appreciated!

Kind regards,
Andrea
