Default Solved: Google Chat - can I change my status on the Pre?

EDIT--solved, but left up here for other confused users. Not sure why my status would be controlled under a setting called "buddies," but there you have it.

How do I change my status settings on the Pre so that I'm not always available? I don't want to log out of GChat every time I switch from being on a real computer to my Pre, I just want control over my status.

SOLUTION--go to messaging. Switch to buddies view. Tap the status icon and change your status.
